The tin contains 30g (1oz) of ceremonial grade matcha powder while the bag contains 100g (3.5oz). The 30g tin is great for 30 servings – perfect for a month of daily matcha and the 100g bag is great for tin refills, roommates and soulmates, super savers, and matcha addicts.–––––––––––––––––––––––
HOW TO MAKE A MATCHA LATTE
Step 1 – Sift
Sifting helps break apart the powder so your latte is smooth and creamy. No one wants chunks of powder in your latte.
Step 2 – Whisk
Mix hot (not boiling!) water into your matcha powder and whisk until there’s a thin layer of foam at the top. While we recommend an electric whisk or milk frother, you can always shake or blend until combined.
Step 3 – Drink
Add sweetener (agave, honey, etc.) if you’d like and pour over ice and the milk of your choice (we prefer oat or soy milk) or ad a splash of your milk of choice and drink it hot!
Our matcha is grown in the tea fields of Kagoshima, Japan. The matcha is hand-picked and stone ground before being packaged and sealed for freshness. It’s vegan, gluten free, and non-GMO.
We sampled a TON of matcha to find the perfect source that was not only a great price but also incredibly green and healthy – the perfect everyday matcha! The greener the matcha, the better.
Unlike coffee, matcha provides hours of calm, stable energy. Due to a high concentration of L-theanine, caffeine absorption is regulated so you won’t be jittery nor will you crash.
Most people are aware of the benefits of green tea, but did you know that matcha is the ground powder of the youngest leaf itself? This means the health benefits are much, much higher than traditional green tea.
While we aren’t scientists or doctors, there are many studies that have suggested drinking matcha regularly may protect your liver, boost brain function, prevent cancer, promote heart health, and even help you lose weight.
